At Jyotish Bhawan, we take immense pride in offering reliable, personalized astrological services including live consultations, remedial solutions, horoscope reports, kavachs, yantras, and spiritual guidance. We also recognize that due to personal or technical reasons, a client may wish to cancel or seek a refund. This policy has been carefully crafted to balance customer satisfaction with the ethical and procedural commitments required in astrology-related services.
1. Cancellation Policy
1.1. Chamber Consultations Booking
- Cancellation within 24 hours of booking – 80% Refund: If you cancel your consultation within 24 hours of placing the booking, we will deduct 20% and refund 80% of the paid amount. This helps us cover basic administrative charges and astrologer scheduling efforts.
- Cancellation between 24 hours to 7 days – 50% Refund: If the cancellation is made after 24 hours to 7 days of booking, you will be eligible for a 50% refund and 50% will be deducted from the paid amount. By this time, astrologers may have already begun chart reviews and pre-consultation preparations.
- Cancellation before 48 hours of scheduled date – 20% Refund: If a product booking is cancelled 48 hours prior to the scheduled date, only 20% of the paid amount will be refunded, while 80% will be retained as processing and preparation charges.
- Cancellation after 48 hours of scheduled date – No Refund: If the cancellation request is made after 48 hours of the scheduled delivery time, no refund will be applicable.
- Missed Appointment: If a client fails to attend the scheduled appointment on the booked date without prior notice, the session will be considered completed, and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
- Commitment Assurance Policy: In the rare event that we are unable to attend a scheduled meeting or consultation due to internal reasons, the client will be entitled to a 100% full refund of the amount paid, with no deductions.
- Online Consultation: No refunds are applicable for online consultation services.
1.2. Personalized Reports, Kavachs, Yantras, Remedies, and Ritual-Based Services
These services are highly customized, manually prepared, and often involve time-sensitive Vedic rituals.
- Cancellation within 12 hours of booking – 80% Refund: If you cancel within 12 hours of booking and work on the report or remedy has not yet commenced, 80% of the paid amount will be refunded. The remaining 20% will be retained to cover basic administrative and processing charges. (All advance payments made towards any service or product are strictly non-refundable.)
- Cancellation between 12–24 hours – 50% Refund: Cancellations in this window are eligible for 50% refund, provided the work has not been significantly started. This covers partial labour and preliminary astrological assessments. (All advance payments made towards any service or product are strictly non-refundable.)
- Cancellation after 24 hours – No Refund: Any cancellation after 24 hours will not be eligible for a refund, as the report would either be completed or the ritual process would have been initiated. (All advance payments made towards any service or product are strictly non-refundable.)
- Product Customization & Finalization Policy: Once a specific product — such as a particular type of Kavach, Yantram, or other remedies — are booked from among available variants, the selected form cannot be altered or exchanged later based on customer preference, as each item is custom-prepared following strict ritual and processing guidelines.
- Yantra/Kavach/Ritual Services: These are sacred, customized, and once prepared or energized, cannot be re-used or cancelled. If a ritual, energization, or spiritual process has already begun, the entire fee becomes non-refundable.
- Lost Shipment Policy: In the event that a product is lost in transit through the courier service, the company will promptly arrange for a replacement product at no additional cost to the customer. We are committed to ensuring secure and successful delivery of every order.
- PDF Report Policy: Due to the personalized and non-tangible nature of PDF-based services, no returns or refunds will be provided for any PDF reports once they have been delivered, regardless of the reason. All purchases of such content are considered final.
2. Refund Policy
2.1. Eligible Refund Situations
You will be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- Cancellation made as per allowed windows: You will receive a partial or full refund based on the cancellation timeline mentioned in our Cancellation Policy.
- Unintentional Multiple Payment: In case of an unintentional multiple transaction for the same service, we will verify the payment records and process a 100% refund of the extra amount paid.
2.2. Non-Refundable Situations
You will not be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- Incorrect or incomplete birth details provided: Astrological accuracy relies on correct inputs. If the client provides the wrong date, time, or place of birth, and a report or remedy has been generated accordingly, we cannot issue a refund.
- Change of mind: Once a service has been booked and astrologers have started working, a change of mind or “not feeling the need anymore” does not qualify for refund.
- Report received but results not as expected: Astrology is a guiding science, not a guaranteed outcome. If a client is not satisfied with predictions or remedies, a refund will not be provided.
- Client not reachable during consultation: If we have scheduled the session and sent reminders, but the client is not available or does not answer during the allotted time, the service is considered completed.
- No response from client for required inputs: If you fail to respond to additional information requests required to generate your report or remedy, the responsibility lies with you. No refund will be issued.
3. Refund Process and Timeline
- Refunds (if applicable) will be made to the original payment method used by the customer.
- Once approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Jyotish Bhawan is not responsible for delays caused by banks, UPI systems, or payment gateways.
- You will be notified by email once the refund is initiated.
